Born and raised in Liverpool but a long time resident of Bishop’s Stortford in Hertfordshire, Jim retired early to allow him to devote more time to his painting and sketching. He travels as much as possible to provide him with a wide range of subject matter and enjoys keeping a painting diary of his trips. That’s not to say he isn’t inspired by his local area, having just produced a small series of water colours of Saffron Walden scenes close to where he lives.
Jim works in just about every medium and produces a range of art from pencil sketch to oil painting, from landscape to portrait, and from traditional to abstract. He hopes you can share in the pleasure he achieves in producing his work.
